Don't know how we've missed this gem for so long! Delicious food in comfortable setting. Great taste with reasonable prices. And our waitress, Maral, helped with selections. We'll be back!
This historic little gem is a delightful place to relax and grab some homecooked dishes. The friendly staff greets you with a warm smile and creates a dining experience to remember. Stop by and Enjoy!!!
We were in Old Town Lewisville the other morning around brunch time, so we decided to give Main Street Cafe a try. Old Town is doing a really nice job of revitalizing Old Town and this establishment is representative of the new life that this area of town is experiencing. The menu all looked delicious. The dishes we picked were hot and fresh. We ate everything. They have an outdoor patio available that is dog friendly, so Buddy enjoyed eating here too.
We should work here as dishwashers because we clean our plates every single time. Dixie and everyone else is awesome. Great folks and really nice space.
Love these old buildings from the late 1800. They still have a lot of the original building. Love their chilaquiles and chicken fried steak plates.
This place is FUN! The staff appear to be genuinely happy people and it shows in their attitude. Service is great . This century old big house, with a story, was owned by the town doctor. Located on a busy corner of main street in the "old" town, this home was transformed into a charming, warm restaurant serving good food and good times. Alice's restaurant has come to life. Can't wait to go back.
Don't let the vinal flooring fool you. They have some pretty good food here. I tried their special for today, chicken fried chicken. The chicken was cooked pretty well and tasted great. I loved the fried crisp, it had a decent crunch. I wished I had more mashed potatoes, they were great. However, I really enjoyed the coleslaw, the taste with the chicken really made me want to write about it. Service was excellent. My waitress didn't take to long nor did she rush me. All in all it was a great experience. I do wish there was signage in the back letting you know the cafe was here. I wasn't sure when I parked in back. All in all a great experience though.
Great setting. Excellent menu. Good service. Cold Bloody Mary. Just a suggestion that full price for a dinner salad doesnt seem fair when ordering a full entree and alcoholic beverage. Pushing $40 for one person with tax and tip.
